"SUPER CROOKS" is the thirteenth episode of the first season of Supercrooks and the thirteenth episode of the show overall.

Synopsis[]

Christopher Matts sends Praetorian to stop Johnny and his crew -- but this time, the supervillains have Gladiator on their side.

Plot[]

Kasey tied up

Kasey was tied up by Bastard and Praetorian, who could not believe she tried deceiving him.

The Bastard, Praetorian and the butler Miguel have Kasey tied up, telling her they could not believe they thought they could outsmart him. He tells her that people with superpowers were not allowed on the island on purpose. Praetorian notices that Miguel liked Kasey and tells The Bastard to let him have Kasey when they were done, but he refuses because he would rather kill her right then and there. Miguel approaches Kasey and tells her that her body would still be beautiful even when she was dead.

Johnny tells Carmine and TK that he believed they were in the right place. They are joined by The Diesel Brothers, Gladiator, and Ghost. Forecast joins them by making it snow, which Johnny believes would be a good idea for the fringes on the door. Once they freeze, Sammy uses metallic arms in order to rip the door off. They look down towards the vault which was all the way down and jump. Ghost looks through a wall in order to see how many guards there were behind a wall and they finally make it through.

Crooks prepare to reach vault

The crooks prepared to reach the vault, which required The Diesel Brothers to get cut up by lasers many times.

Johnny tells them that there was one more trap, which detected anyone except for Matts and would rip them apart. However, there was a button to turn the laser off at the end of the corridor. The Diesel Brothers get ready to race to the button and take off running. The laser cuts through both Sammy and Roddy, but both of them regenerate quickly and keep running. After five minutes, Sammy finally manages to make it to the button and turns it off. Once they all walk across safely, it's time for Carmine to use his heat guns to melt the door. He does it quickly and they finally make it to the briefcase, where all the gold is stored. Carmine tells them the system would restart soon, so they start moving out.

The Bastard interrogates Kasey

The Bastard injected Kasey with a truth serum so that she would tell her why she was there.

Kasey is injected with sodium thiopental, which was a truth serum. The Bastard asks her what her superpower is, but Kasey simply asks him in return what he was so afraid of, telling him that he was surrounded by art in order to look sophisticated, but he is just a douchebag that is empty inside. The Bastard does not allow Praetorian to shut her up yet because he wants to know everything while the drug still worked. He asks her why she is there and she tells him that they are there to steal from him, which her friends were doing right at that moment. The Bastard gets angry and has Miguel bring up the cameras. There, they see that the superpower suppression unit was rebooting and all the guards were taken out. They look at the underground facility and see the villains with the briefcase, so The Bastard tells Praetorian to teleport down there.

TK tells Johnny that with the money he would take his family to Asia. The Diesel Brothers, Ghost, Carmine, Forecast, and Gladiator run with them as well when Praetorian shows up, telling them that they were as stupid as they looked. The Bastard talks through a PA system, asking if they really thought they could get away with it and asks why they would try to steal from him if they knew who he was. Johnny makes fun of him, telling him that was now too old to stop them. That makes The Bastard very angry, but the power suppression system reboots.

Praetorian punches Johnny

Wanting Johnny to get what he deserved, Gladiator waited until he defeated all the crooks to attack Praetorian.

The Bastard tells Praetorian that he could now kill the group. Johnny tells Gladiator that it was now his turn to handle Praetorian. However, Gladiator takes his time while Praetorian punches Johnny in the face. Gladiator tells Johnny that he had been waiting to see him get hit. Even without powers, Praetorian seems to be taking his time defeating the villains.

Miguel hands The Bastard a sniper rifle. He says that they need to be reminded what true fear feels like and aims it, telling Miguel to turn off the suppression system. He aims it a Kasey, whose eyes begin to bleed. However, she uses her own powers to knock him back and fights against him.

Gladiator punches Praetorian

Gladiator punched Praetorian so hard that he left him with brain damage and immobilized him.

Praetorian defeats all the villains, telling them that they were all worthless without their powers. Gladiator finally thinks that that had been enough and tells Praetorian that he could not believe how he had fallen, seeing that he was The Bastard's bodyguard. Praetorian tries punching him, but Gladiator grabs his wrist and reveals his face, which frightens Praetorian. Praetorian tries defending himself, but Gladiator is clearly much stronger and sends him flying back and slams him into the ground. Once Praetorian was defeated by Gladiator, Carmine asks if he was dead. Johnny tells Gladiator that he was not supposed to kill him since they never did that, but Gladiator says that he had only left him with some brain damage. Johnny says they should now leave.

The Bastard is wearing Kasey out and tells her that he was lonely and bored. He says that he believes his life was better before he was rich, but did not want a bunch of punks to steal from him. He tells her that he would use her corpse to taunt her boyfriend. Finally, Kasey is unable to keep The Bastard from inside her head and it explodes.

The Bastard realizes he had been tricked

The Bastard realized he had been tricked by Kasey and made Miguel's head explode, which made him very angry.

The Bastard asks Praetorian to bring him the villains, but gets no answer. Suddenly, he gets a call saying that Praetorian was down, as well as his mansion. He says that that was impossible, since he had been in his mansion the whole time. However, The Bastard turns around and sees that the brush strokes on his painting were different and sees that he had made Miguel's head explode.

Kasey waves towards Johnny, who was on a small boat and is brought on board. She hugs Johnny, but Carmine tells them that they need to leave, so they take off.

The Bastard is in his meditation cave, where he realizes that if she had used her power in the mansion, she would have been detected and realizes that everything had been an illusion since the airport. His meditation guide approaches him and tells him that he looked as if he had been tricked. He gets angry at being surprised and makes his head explode as well.

Johnny and Kasey retire

Johnny and Kasey were happy they could now retire from being crooks forever.

Ghost tells Kasey that she really had guts in order to do what she had done, as Gladiator smiles. Carmine also says that she followed the rules needed and calls her a great supervillain. Johnny tells her that she was the only one who had been able to go through all of that with her friends. Both of them hug and tell one another that they love them. Kasey tells him that they could now retire, which Johnny agrees with. Forecast, TK, The Diesel Brothers and the rest celebrate happily.

One year later, in a casino in Manila, Carmine had been able to pay off his 100 million dollar debt and chilled out as told by Johnny. TK took his family on a trip to East Asia, Forecast invested in space exploration, while Ghost used diplomatic pressure on the Greek government and bought a lot of land there while they were in a financial crisis. Roddy put every penny of his money into the development of a four-dimensional transport system, which meant his time machine was not a bluff and he had actually earned a doctorate from Princeton. Sammy spent everything on women and liquor, while The Gladiator made sure he could never get blackmailed again, confessing he had been disloyal to his partner, later marrying him.

Tommy surprised by Johnny's photo

Tommy was very surprised when he got Johnny's letter with a bunch of photos.

Johnny still wanted to know what to do with Matts one year later because he knew that he loved vengeance. His old friend Tommy was working as a writer for The New York Times when he got a letter from "Electro Boy", which had the selfie the villains had taken when stealing from Matts. Tommy was left in shock by that.

The Bastard walks into The Network, surprising the new heads there. He believed that the article Tom had written had been sent in by Salamander, but he did not know what The Bastard was talking about. The Bastard tells him that he wanted his 800 million dollars back and makes his head explode, saying that he would take one of Salamander's islands. After that, The Bastard made everybody's head explode, saying that he had missed that part of his life.

Johnny and Kasey ride on a hot air balloon when Johnny points to the ground, asking her if she would marry him. He gets her a real ring, and she says she would think about them, kissing him.

Trivia[]

  • If Roddy's project is a success, he will make back the 100 million he invested very quickly.
  • Carmine clearly gambled part of his share and won a good amount; seeing he's relaxing at a blackjack table with a hooker at his side.
  • Ghost's move was utterly brilliant. Since he now owns the land, he makes back his share continuously as a landlord.
  • Sammy is the only one who wasted his share; as he's seen with what looks an entire brothel's worth of prostitutes at the same time.
